For the main meal try out the Ikan Semilang Laut Assam Pedas,Sambal
Terung with Kupang Kering, Ekor Lembu Kerisik, Burung Puyuh Berlada, Daging Masak
Uengkep, Chinese Lamb Stew with Beancurd and Black Fungus, Crispy Five Spice Chicken
,Fried Garoupa Hong Siew style, Salmon Tandoori, Gosht Chaap(Indian Lamb Chop ) and
Fish Masala.
For those more inclined to western fare, start with the array of cold cuts - Greek
Salad, Smoked Salmon, Potato Salad with crispy Turkey Roll and various types of green
salads and dressing. For the main meal, sample the Chicken Chop with Mushroom and
Black Pepper Sauce , Salmon Fillet with Chervil Cream Sauce or Beef Lasagna.
There are also show station on the side with offerings such as Roti Jala, Apom Tosai,
Mee Rebus, Fish Ball Noodle Soup, Tandoori, fresh Popiah, Ais Kacang and different
types of ice creams.
For desert, splurge on assorted Malay Kuih,Rich Chocolate Cake, Blueberry Cheese
Cake, Lemon Meringue Pie, Pingat Pisang and Nangka, Puding Gula Hangus, Ais Kacang
and fresh fruit. End the evening with a cup of coffee or tea, which is offered as
part of the buffet.
The Riverside Restaurant also provides the use of a Surau, which is located on the
some floor as the restaurant .
The buffet items are rotated daily from eight different menus specially prepared
for the month of Ramadhan and is open from 7pm - 10:30pm daily. Prices are RM45 net
for adults and half-price for children up to 12 years old. Aside from the Ramadhan
,buffet, specialised menus and private rooms can be arranged for groups of 40 persons
or more.
